Afterglow Wired Controller for Xbox 360 – Blue by PDP

My son loves this controller, but my husband isn’t quite so jazzed about it. Why the difference? Let’s first look at what they agree on:

1.) Wired is nice. Weird, right? But they both agree that it is actually nice not to have to worry if they put the controller on the charger just right the night before. So they at least have one controller always ready to go.

2.) Feel like an Xbox controller. I thought “Duh”…but apparently…this isn’t as much of a no brainer as I thought. Especially with the clear controllers they can sometimes be too slick feeling. This one feels like you are using a standard Xbox controller. (I guess that could be good or bad.)

3.) Controls like an Xbox controller. Not too sensitive, but no a “dead stick” either. They say you can move between this and an Xbox controller without having to get re-adjusted to how it handles.

What do they disagree on?

The light! My son loves it and thinks it is nice. My husband thinks it is too bright. Ah well, I guess you can’t please everyone.

Overall: 4 stars. If you are looking for a wired, lit, and very standard controller, you got it right here!
