Logitech G105 Gaming Keyboard with Backlighting (920-003371)

My family has a long standing relationship with Logitech keyboards. My husband uses a Logitech G19 with the full color LCD, my daughter uses his old Logitech G15 and is an ace at using those G-keys.

Me? I just wanted something sturdy, and I love the way their keyboards are lit!

So now I have my very own Logitech G105. It is missing a lot of the bells and whistles of the other Logitech keyboards in my house, but the ones that it does have are impressive:

Adjustable back-lighting: I love this! I do wish I could change the colors, but the blue is very nice and relaxing.

G-keys: I have no idea what my husband uses 16 3-way programmable keys for. But, 6 keys, that is something I can use! The software from Logitech makes it a breeze to assign a shortcut to a G-key, or even record a quick macro.

Media Keys: I watch a lot of movies and tv shows during the day while I am working at my computer. While it is pretty easy to click the mouse on pause button, it is even easier just to hit the pause button on the keyboard. I know this is a feature on a lot of keyboards these days, but I am glad it is one that Logitech did not decide to leave out!

Construction: No, I do not plan on using my keyboard as a baseball bat. No, I probably won’t use it as a hammer when I fix the kids playscape. But, as far as keyboards go, it is really well made.

Overall: 4 Stars. Great keyboard though it is a little on the pricey side.

    Great share,,,
Today many PC gaming keyboards feature backlighting which help players to always ensure they can hit the right buttons without having to take their eyes away from the screen.

I like this keyboard a lot! I replaced a wireless keyboard that I was using because I couldn’t see the keyboard at night. The backlight is bright enough in both settings for playing in a dark room and the blue color is easy on the eyes.

It’s a rubber dome keyboard that cost as much as a cheap mechanical keyboard. I would recommend an actual mechanical keyboard like the Redragon Kumara or Magicforce 68 with Outemu switches at this price range.

For gaming purposes a mechanical keyboard of some sort seems to always get the votes. I personally prefer one of the Microsoft or Kinesis versions for office use which is where most of my use occurs.
