Marware Lightweight MicroShell Folio Standing Case for Kindle Fire HD 8.9″, Black

This is a fabulous lightweight cover for your 8.9″ Fire. It kind of looks flimsy, but it does seem to give enough protection. Installation was SUPER easy, it snapped right into it and I didn’t feel like I was going to break the thing.

To set the Fire upright, you just fold back the cover into the groove and it actually is REALLY stable. I could stab at the screen and move around and type and it didn’t fall over or tip or anything like that.

For someone that wants something stable, light weight and super easy, this is a FABULOUS choice for your new Fire.

My ONLY issue is with the closure. I really don’t like the elastic that pulls over the front (or back if you’re not using it). The outside is a bit slick, but it also makes it looks REALLY nice and professional.

I’m torn on this one and not yet sure if I’ll keep it. The closure isn’t a complete deal breaker for me, but I’m less than impressed with it.

Overall, recommended for those that don’t want a lot of weight added to your Fire and want a stable way to prop it up.
