BISSELL Easy Sweep Cordless Rechargeable Sweeper, 15D1A

My house is 80% tile floors. We also have two kids and two long hair chihuahuas. It sometimes feels like we spend half of our lives sweeping or vacuuming up or something all the hair. We’ve tried a LOT of sweepers. Sadly, there is a really great Shark one that they changed the design on that worked great. It was a really sad day when it stopped working. The newer ones don’t work worth a darn.

This one is a little better than those we’ve tried recently. I think the real problem here is that it’s trying to be too many things. It wants to work on carpet AND bare floors. So what happens, no matter how you set it or use it, is that it ends up throwing stuff out the backside of it at you. This one isn’t as bad as the others and for those phone calls of “someone is coming over, quick, clean up” it’s great to grab and suck up the dog hair and various crumbs and dirt.

Cheerio spills? Well, not so much (we just get the dogs to clean that up anyway). But we did try with rice and ended up getting pelted with it. It was kind of funny to watch my 9-year-old, who was talked into doing it jump and say “Hey, that hurts my legs mom” while the rice was shooting at her. Hmmm… maybe the next time she misbehaves, we tell her we’ll make her Easy Sweep the rice up again????

At any rate, this is a decent one and it does a decent job. We were able to get most things up by going over it a few times and emptying it is SUPER easy. We didn’t try it on the carpet, but it worked fine on our low pile area rugs.

Recommended as the best I’ve tried on tile floors… still searching for that perfect solution though!

The EasySweep is the perfect choice for quick pick-ups on bare floor, rugs and low level carpet. Its swivel handle easily maneuvers under furniture and along baseboards.
