Belkin Fridge Mount for iPad 2

Bottom line it’s awesome and the one thing that made me consider keeping the iPad (I won it at a conference).

It would have been better with magnets though so you can move it. But that’s also partially because I don’t like fridge clutter. I also would have liked it on the front of the fridge for my calendar (which is where I put it) but be able to move it when I was cooking so I could see the screen easier (maybe I’m lazy).

The iPad was super secure which I was nervous about.

My biggest gripe? I got two cuts trying to open the package, I hate plastic packaging.

Overall, a great product that has turned a $500 toy into something useful.

Description:

The Belkin Fridge Mount provides a secure, convenient frame for mounting your iPad 2 to the fridge or wall. An ideal accessory for chefs who use their tablet device while cooking, this mount holds your iPad 2 securely in place with a frame that mounts to the fridge using commercial-grade 3M Command Strips. The Command Strips attach to your fridge or wall without tools, which also makes them easy to remove if needed. Once the mount is attached, a magnetic strip locks the iPad securely in place.

  • Safe and secure
  • Supplied 3M Command Strips affix the mount to a fridge, cabinet, wall or any other smooth vertical surface; can be removed without damage or residue
  • No tools are needed and no permanent installation is required
  • Inner magnetic strip snaps to the iPod 2’s own magnet and holds it firmly in place
  • iPod is easy to position and remove
