Hour 14 of #readathon and under the covers

I kicked some butt this hour. And some indies have sent me free short stories (thanks, guys! I’ll need those to keep from zonking out tonight! Mwah Mwah Mwah!) So, quickly…

The next challenge is from Reading At The Beach and she says to Name 2 books that had a cover that you loved and/or a blurb that sounded really good, but when you read the book it either had nothing to do with what was on the cover/blurb or was not as good as you thought it would be.

I have the opposite problem (yes, I always break the rules) and the first was Cattitude by Edie Ramer. The cover and description looked like something I would totally hate and while it the description was close, it wasn’t at all what I was expecting. The other is Calico Pennants by David Ross, the description doesn’t do it justice (I wonder if maybe the author didn’t write it – I dunno, just TOTALLY not what I expected, it was REALLY good).

Title of book(s) current reading: October Breezes by Maria Hooley

Hey there! You’re doing much better than me, I just can’t seem to settle down and get any serious reading done, but that’s okay, I’m still having a good time! Congrats on your win! Keep up the good work!

Tell Shauney she’d have less problems if she’d read Trevor already. Sheesh.

As for you, you’re rocking. But I knew you would.

    Consider yourself cheered on.
