Hour 10 of #readathon and a pet challenge

Leo in kitchenI’m still here. I’m still reading. My Kindle is acting slow so I’m hard resetting it. I guess 9 straight hours and it’s wondering what the heck is going on. I also had the Text-To-Speech on fast so it would turn the pages for me automatically (just turn the volume all the way down, yes, I’m a genius and lazy) so maybe that was freaking it out. Whatever…

So, Lynne wants us to show off our pets in this next challenge.
1)  Post a picture on your blog of a current or past pet.
2)  Tell us your favorite animal book and then write a sentence using the name of the main character and only the first letter of that name.

1) We have 2 chihuahuas, 5 hermit crabs, a bearded dragon, a mouse and a bird. I will share a photo of Leo, our youngest chihuahua, he was a rescue dog and well, he’s kind of an idiot. I’m not sure if it’s too much inbreeding or abuse or what. I know, some of you are going “awwww…” but you’ve never seen him (after living with us for 1.5 years) forget how to use the doggie door. Or forget who you are and start barking at you. Or well.. yeah, he’s a moron. So that’s him in this post. Enjoy!
2) I’m not really an animals book, so let’s go with Charlotte’s Web’s Goose.  Grey Goose Gets Gross Green Gangrene.

Hey look!  I should write children’s books. Someone go illustrate for me.

Sorry, but Leo IS adorable. At least he’s a cute moron, right? 🙂

Thanks for playing! (Doesn’t it seem like it’d be kind of easy to write a children’s book? I mean, really…)
