Mead Number Stories WorkBook, Stage Two
I read through the book and showed it to my husband. He’s the teacher in the family so I thought I would get his input. He was really surprised by the “K-2” on the cover. He recommends more of a Pre-k or K rating only.
In his experience the topics covered in this book are mostly exhausted in the first month or two of Kindergarten. While the book does cover simple addition and subtraction, today’s Kinder classes are covering more advance concepts such as “Why is it addition?” and also adding double digit numbers. The same with subtraction.
I would have loved to have had this book for my daughter prior to her entering school since she didn’t go to Pre-K. However, as a First Grader she is so far beyond the topics covered in this “K-2” book that she would either laugh or trudge boringly through it should I put this book in front of her.
Good book, they just need to target the right audience.
Description:A uniquely designed workbook to teach children proper number formation and early math skills. Uses multisensory “everyday type” math techniques and fun story cues. The paper avoids number reversals.

Thanks for reviewing this Candy
I’m needing some more resources for Anthony to prep him for Kindergarten in the fall. Will I find this at amazon, or locally?
