Club Dead by Charlaine Harris (Book #3 Sookie Stackhouse)
This is probably my favorite so far that I’ve read in this series, maybe I’m finally getting to know the characters or maybe this storyline was more fleshed-out, I’m not sure. But I did feel this story moved along really well. I did think there was a little higher “gross out” factor than previous books in this series.
Sookie’s boyfriend has been very distant-in another state, distant. Now she’s off to Mississippi to mingle with the underworld at Club Dead-a little haunt where the vampire elite go to chill out. But when she finally finds Bill-caught in an act of betrayal-she’s not sure whether to save him…or sharpen some stakes.
