(Movie) Suburban Girl

I had no desire to read the book this is based off of (Girl’s Guide to Hunting and Fishing), and I really liked Simply Irresistible with Gellar, so I figured why not, I’ll just watch the movie. The story isn’t bad, but the chemistry between the actors isn’t there – for any of them in any capacity. Alec Baldwin comes off a little skeevy – which I guess he’s supposed to – he’s playing a 50 year old dating a 20-something. I dunno… I liked the story, even the ending, but the movie was a little on the “meh” side. I dunno… should I pick up the book to read? Hmmm….
