(Movie) 27 Dresses

Predictable. Very very very predictable. But that’s okay, even the main character’s bad acting doesn’t take too much away from the film. Just make sure you really are in the mood for a romantic comedy before getting this one, otherwise, you won’t like it. Luckily I was, so I didn’t completely hate it 🙂 Worth a rent from the dollar rental box 🙂

Product Description
Katherine Heigl (Knocked up TV’s Grey’s Anatomy) lights up the screen in this charming romantic comedy from the screenwriter of The Devil Wears Prada.” Heigl stars as Jane a romantic completely selfless woman who has been a bridesmaid in no less than 27 weddings. Unfortunately her own happy ending seems to be nowhere in sight. Until her younger sister Tess captures the heart of Jane’s boss — on whom Jane has a secret crush inspiring Jane to change her “always-a-bridesmaid” destiny.

A fat glass of merlot also helps you get through this one. Saying that, I thought it was a fun movie overall, definitely a chickie flickie, or for the poor bridesmaid who has EVER had to wear one of those gawdawful dresses! Been there, done that!

I saw this movie on the plane on my way to FoVA. Total cheesy chick flick but I could almost relate. I’ve been a bride’s maid 9 times, maybe more. Those were the 9 ugliest and most expensive dresses I have ever owned.

I thought this movie was cute! And it served its purpose of getting me through a flight delay where we were stuck on the plane but allowed to use the personal tvs!
