Perfect Match [Audio] by Jodi Picoult

I originally read this back November 2006. The audio book was on sale so I figured why not… it was well done. The narrator’s voice can be a little grating sometimes, but it did bring the characters to life very well. AND I finally learned how to pronounce the author’s last name properly 🙂 The story – I feel the same way. It was a little more uncomfortable listening to it than reading it, but because of the descriptive nature of some of it, I had to either wear my ear buds or make sure the kids weren’t around.

Well done, overall…

Assistant district attorney Nina Frost prosecutes child molesters. She has seen too many criminals slip through the system. Her husband Caleb is a stonemason. No walls can guard them from the shattering discovery that their five-year-old son Nathaniel has been sexually abused. He’s been left mute, unable to speak.
